Firestarter is a live-fire kitchen in Liverpool Street, serving dinner Wednesday through Saturday.

The idea is simple: create a place where the food takes centre stage, cooked over flames you can see and smell from your table.

Expect bold flavours, crab doughnuts with cowboy butter, espresso-tamarind ribs, gochujang wings, and a double smash burger that goes full Animal Style. There’s a 450g Ibérico pork chop if you’re hungry, or fire-roasted cauliflower with black garlic if you’re not eating meat.

We’ve got around 60 seats in the dining room, including a handful at the counter where you can watch the whole show. The drinks list runs to nine cocktails, including our White Hot Negroni and Burnt Butter Rum Punch.

It’s relaxed. No tablecloths, no fuss. Just good food, open flames, and a proper vibe whenever you fancy it.
